Glamour rules! Celebrate Hollywood’s “Golden Age” through photographs, film and music at this special event that lets visitors enjoy the museum after hours at Art After Dark – Scene on the Silver Screen.
This evening of culture suitable for families focuses on the special exhibition Made in Hollywood: Photographs from the John Kobal Foundation.
Docent-led museum tours for families and a discussion of the exhibit by the museum’s curator of photography, Charles Stainback, are planned. Fashionistas can draw their own fashion illustrations with models provided by Vintage Glam. A special reading by Miles Coon, director of the Palm Beach Poetry Festival, is a unique addition to the night’s entertainment, which also includes a jazz performance by vocalist SAMM with Jamie Ousley on bass.
In keeping with the Hollywood theme, a screening of the American classic film, My Man Godfrey, which features Carole Lombard, takes place at 7:30 p.m.
