Twenty years after her mother was murdered in a convenience store robbery, Stephanie Cassatly and her husband, Michael, attended a meeting at a church they were thinking of joining.

D’Lites Emporium specializes in healthy living products that are low in fat, carbs, sugar and calories. Products include soft-serve ice cream, baked goods, sauces, cereals and other low-carb foods. Ice cream flavors include the standard chocolate and vanilla as well as a variety of others, including cookie dough, Dreamsicle, pecan pie and banana nut fudge.

ATMOSPHERE

Like most ice cream parlors, D’Lites induces smiles. We enjoyed our ice cream at one of a handful of tables in the restaurant, and took turns sharing my husband’s gigantic sundae. Read the full story
