Palm Beaches’ ‘best band’ returns

Cedric the Entertainer to play the West Palm Beach Improv

Cedric the Entertainer will bring the funny to the Palm Beach Improv Friday and Saturday. Best known for his work in films including Barbershop and Be Cool, he also starred in the Spike Lee film The Original Kings of Comedy alongside Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, and the late Bernie Mac. Cedric the Entertainer worked with Steve Harvey in another capacity as well, as the co-star of the his WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show. More recently, he lent his voice talents to the third installment of the animated hit Madagascar, to be released in June.

Jim Breuer: And now, the return of Goat Boy

Jim Breuer has two shows Friday and Saturday and one on Sunday night.

Former Saturday Night Live player Jim Breuer will return to the Palm Beach Improv at CityPlace this weekend.

Breuer first rose to fame in the mid-1990s as a cast member on SNL, portraying popular characters such as Goat Boy. The cutting-edge comedian is also well-known for his role in the cult hit Half Baked alongside Dave Chapelle. In addition to his stand-up success and acting career, Breuer hosts Fridays with Jim Breuer, which airs Friday afternoons on the Sirius Satellite Radio channel Raw Dog Comedy.
