It turns out pop star Justin Bieber won’t be performing in Tallahassee before Rick Scott’s inauguration.
A spokesman for Scott’s inaugural team said Thursday that there are no negotiations to bring Bieber to Tallahassee. There was talk he would perform at Florida’s Future Youth Concert the night before the inauguration and extra security would have been needed.
The concert is one of several events planned leading up to Scott being sworn in.
An Altamonte Springs woman, who was given a huge new home from ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition, could soon lose it to foreclosure. Sadie Holmes was on the show in 2006. She was given the home for free, so how could a bank take it?
Holmes used the mansion as collateral on a loan she took out. She said she used the cash to support the ministry she runs out of the home and a thrift store across the street. Now, the fate of that ministry and the private home are both in question.

Several of the stars of the Harry Potter movie series were on hand for today’s opening of the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios Orlando, including the man who’s played the title character, Daniel Radcliffe, as well as Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley.

The day Harry Potter fans across the world have been waiting for has arrived. After years of planning, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened to visitors at Universal Orlando Friday morning.
The park opened at 9:00am, but the frenzy had been building all week long for excited visitors waiting to get their first look at the The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Universal opened its parking garage at 5:30am in anticipation of the big crowds the park is expecting Friday. The view from Skywitness 9 over the park shortly after 9:00am showed thousands of people lined up for hundreds of yards.
“It is amazing,” WFTV reporter Daralene Jones said. “I’ve never read the books or seen the movies, but as one Harry Potter fan put it, even I felt like I was walking on the movie set.”
ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando woman told a British tabloid she had an intense affair with Tiger Woods after meeting him at a local Perkins restaurant she managed near his Isleworth mansion.
