The Tuaca Berry Blast at Yard House in Palm Beach Gardens. (Richard Graulich / The Post)

This week’s bar: Yard House

The scene: Like a more refined version of your neighborhood sports bar. Or like a Cheesecake Factory with a singles-friendly vibe. The Yard House is a chain restaurant famous for its vast selection of beers (more than 100 varieties on draft). But it’s also got a great bar scene, particularly with a yuppie-minded crowd that likes to party in good taste. The basic elements are there — plenty of TVs tuned to the game-day action, classic rock ’n’ roll playing in the background. But the Yard House takes it to another level, perhaps because it puts so much emphasis on what the bar serves — and we’re not just talking beer.

Signature cocktail: The Tuaca Berry Blast ($8.75), a potent, tasty mix of Tuaca (an Italian liqueur with vanilla and citrus flavors) and other fruity spirits, including Midori melon liqueur and wild berry vodka. It’s sweet, but not in an overpowering way.

Other noteworthy libations: For a place that puts so much emphasis on beer, you’d be surprised at how many terrific signature cocktails the Yard House pours, from the Southern Punch (made with Southern Comfort, naturally) to a Tropical Mint Chill (made with passion fruit vodka). Still, you can’t go wrong with a beer — whether you opt for the hearty (say, Young’s Oatmeal Stout) or the hoppy (say, Humboldt Pale Ale).

Bar bites:
There are plenty of fun items. Our favorites include the Spicy Tuna Roll ($11.85), a reinterpreted version of the sushi-bar favorite, and the Mexican-style Moo Shu Egg Rolls ($9.65). Great pizzas, too.

Deals: The Happy Hour specials include select half-price appetizers/pizzas and discounted drinks, from $3.50 domestic pints to $6 house martinis. Happy Hour times are in the afternoon (3 to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday) and late evening (10 p.m. to close, Sunday to Wednesday).
