The two-hour season premier will air on September 24th and not surprisingly the drama continues.
After much anticipation it seems that Izzie does survive and awakens to the devastating news that her BFF, George is dead.
Christina and Owen’s relationship finally heats up.

Pics of ‘Ugly Truth’ Premiere
Another day, another interview with Katherine Heigl apparently talking smack about “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The up-and-coming romantic comedy queen was pushing her newest flick, the amusing-looking “The Ugly Truth,” on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” and just couldn’t stop herself from complaining about how long the “Grey’s” overlords worked her when she returned for the upcoming season. (Her character, terminally ill doctor Izzy, was flatlining as the last episode ended, and was pondering riding an elevator to heaven with former lover George, who, judging from the fact that portrayer T.R. Knight isn’t coming back, is really, most sincerely dead.)
EW.com is reporting that T.R. Knight has officially been let out of his contract. With the fall season still months away the drama on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has started early.
Does this mean that both George and Izzie die? Or does Izzie stay and all season we were hyped up just to be blind sighted?
The two-hour season finale of ‘Grey’s’ left me with more questions than answers. I have to give it to Shonda Rhimes and her team of writers they sure know how to pull on the emotional heartstrings. With a tissue in my hand, I sat tense anticipating what would happen.
In the beginning of the show Meredith says, “When something begins, you generally have no idea how it’s going to end”. This is an example of foreshadowing at it’s best.
There is never a quiet moment in Seattle Grace. A trauma comes in interrupting what seemed like an easy day. A bus load of students on their way to graduation crashed.
Despite the seriousness of the accident each victim remains positive and are mature beyond they’re years. The wisdom from these students enlighten each of the doctor and they find themselves connecting with each victim.
There is one soul survivor and Karev has her recite her Valedictorian speech. The speech I have to say made me teary eyed and created the inevitable lump in my throat.
Torres is coming to grips with the fact that her family has disowned her and left her relatively broke. The former trust fund doctor is finding herself taking extra shifts just to make ends meet. Welcome to the real world Torres! All this pressure has her alienating her new love interest, Arizona.
O’Malley has been stepping up to the game. After a season and a half of him shuffling papers and being hardly visible. The writers are finally giving him some worthy material. Under Owen’s guidance he is shaping up to be an excellent trauma doctor.
The day has come for Meredith and Derek to sail off into the sunset together. The dress has been fitted, flowers chosen and invitations sent out. Although this isn’t the type of wedding they would have chosen for themselves they seem more ready than ever to walk down the aisle.
Unfortunately things with Izzie aren’t getting better. She is seeing Denny again which is a sign she is hallucinating again. After a brain scan Derek finds a tiny tumor that is inoperable. This latest set back for Izzie is putting things into perspective for Karev.
Izzie has put so much effort into planning this wedding when the realization that she has another tumor that can’t be removed Meredith and Derek decide to give their wedding to Izzie and Alex. Although it wasn’t the wedding I was hoping to see it was beautiful. Izzie was hardly able to make it down the aisle O’Malley had to help her and winded up being the one giving her away. Inspired by the sole survivor Alex uses her speech as his wedding vow.
After the ceremony Izzie returns to the hospital and is seeing Denny again. She tells Denny about the wedding and that she is ready but needs to be alone with her husband. It’s an eery feeling she went from beautiful blushing bride to pale and balding cancer patient.
Next week is the season finale and I’m still uncertain on what will happen. Will Izzie survive? Has this all been a ploy to keep us glued to the set? I’m not sure but I’m excited to find out.
Grey’s Anatomy actress Chyler Leigh has welcomed her third child, a daughter named Anniston Kae (KAY).
A representative for Leigh says the baby was born Thursday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Says publicist Marcel Pariseau (Pehr-i-soh): “Both mother and child are healthy.”
The 27-year-old actress and her husband, actor Nathan West, have a 5-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. The couple have been married for almost seven years.
Leigh plays Meredith Grey’s half-sister on the ABC medical drama.

Ellen Pompeo who plays Meredith on Grey’s Anatomy is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Chris Ivery. Her rep confirmed the news to People.
Chris and Ellen wed in 2007 in a low-key ceremony in NY.
The pair dated since 2003 after having met in a grocery store. Chris Ivery is a music record producer.
It seems the baby bug has hit Seattle Grace, Chyler Leigh who plays Meredith’s sister is expecting her third child in May.
It’s anyone’s guess if the writers will write Ellen’s pregnancy into the plot.
It would add for great drama and a new spin on what has been a tiresome season.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan aka Denny Duquette of ‘Grey’s’ got an early father’s day surprise.
His ex-girlfriend Sherrie Rose, an actress and producer announced to US Magazine “Yes, I have a 4-year-old son with Jeffrey”.
Morgan was shocked but eager to start a relationship with his son who he met a few weeks ago.
Jeffrey was also engaged to Weed’s star Mary Louis Parker, the two broke up last year.

Owen’s images of Iraq turn dangerously violent.
While laying in bed staring at the ceiling fan he has a freezing moment and awakens to the sight of Christina fighting for her life – he is choking her!
Luckily Christina was able to fight him off but not without having a terrible bruise on her neck and being understandably shaken.
