He’s already done some of the best commercials in recent memory, possibly ever, and he can turn an oyster into diamonds while riding on a horse. He is, of course, the Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
And now, he’s talking to you. Look at him. Now back to pbpulse. Now back to him!
TheNextWeb reports that the guy — played by Isaiah Mustafa, a guy with amazing comic timing — is answering select Twitter messages with videos on YouTube. All you have to do is send a message to @oldspice, and you too may see your response from The Man Your Man Could Smell Like.
Here’s TMYMCSL’s response to Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno (@apoloohno), who simply thanked him apparently:
Update: Corrected to show none of the men have been cut from the cast.
It could’ve been potentially disastrous.
On So You Think You Can Dance, the final group started with six men and five women. After a few weeks of cutdowns, more women saw the door than men, leaving six men and three girls. Now, while it was still possible for each guy to pair off with a female counterpart, the powers that be decided the time had come for two guys to be paired up.
And so classically trained ballet dancer Alex Wong — of the Miami City Ballet — was paired with hip-hop master Stephen “Twitch” Boss.
But what could’ve been an out-and-out train wreck turned into one of the show’s top routines of this season and possibly any other.
Take a look at Alex — who also talks glowingly of his boss, Edward Villella — showing that because he’s pretty much up for any style, he has to be considered the clear favorite to take this season’s crown:
We lost one of television’s great pioneers last week when Art Linkletter died at the age of 97. Linkletter, the host of People Are Funny and House Party, was never a fan of scripts, preferring to improvise.
Of course, that can get you into trouble, as he did during a commercial for GE:
One of my favorite videos in a while is seeing the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, get a few screams by startling people at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Times Square.
You can see the full video here, though he uses a couple of words we wouldn’t be able to print. However, CBS’ The Early Show cleaned it up for the family hour:
I’ll say this for Jane Lynch, she doesn’t hide her convictions.
One of the funniest women on the planet, Lynch is also a stern advocate for PETA. Here, she discusses spaying and neutering your pets to control the pet population:
A group of unemployed Buffalo residents who run a website called INAFJ.org, put up a billboard for President Obama, who was in town yesterday to talk about creating jobs. The billboard was along the route of the president’s motorcade and the message was pretty clear: Buffalo needs jobs.
This billboard in Buffalo presses President Obama to do more to help create jobs.
The group also has produced a video (below).
As the economy shows some signs of improvement and the jobs issue begins to fade, this group hopes to keep pressure on the administration to continue to work at job creation. For more, here’s a link to a CNN story.
Do you think the government is doing enough to get Americans back to work? Let us hear what you have to say below.
Of course, now that we’re heading to the end of six seasons of Lost, the big question is… um… how will it end?
To be honest, I have no idea. Not even going to begin to guess.
But a group called Team Tiger Awesome, along with Atom.com, have a few ideas, including this one, where it could end like a live TV show. Lost was shot before a live studio audience:
You may or may not be aware of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews’ dance experience prior to Dancing With the Stars. She was part of the University of Florida’s dance team, doing routines at halftime and during timeouts of Gator basketball games.
However, she’s also part of the campaign for Darrin’s Dance Grooves, the exercise video featuring Darrin Henson, the choreographer for Britney Spears and boy bands like ‘NSYNC. You can definitely spot her at the 0:45 mark here, talking about how Darrin’s Dance Grooves work for her!
