Pistache at 101 N. Clematis St. in downtown West Palm Beach serves a French-style dog topped with swiss cheese. The mustard? Dijon, of course. Allen Eyestone/The Post
We’re coming up on Bastille Day (Tuesday), so what better opportunity to enjoy French cuisine. Here are five places that specialize in all things Gallic:
Pistache: The downtown West Palm Beach restaurant is getting a jump start on the Bastille Day festivities with a block party-style celebration on Saturday from 3 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine (some events will take place inside the restaurant).
There will be live music, street performers and, of course, food and wine. The restaurant also will offer special menu items on Bastille Day itself. 101 N. Clematis St., (561) 833-5090, pistachewpb.com.
La Bonne Bouche: This casual downtown Lake Worth bakery and eatery, which just started offering dinner, has a clever Bastille Day celebration planned — a two-course meal with French favorites priced at $17.89 (in honor of 1789, the year of the French Revolution). 516 Lucerne Ave., (561) 533-0840.
L’Anjou: More French in downtown Lake Worth — from a restaurant that has been a fixture for three decades (it was even featured in the movie Body Heat, which was filmed in the city). It’s closed on Bastille Day, but you can come anytime next Wednesday to Sunday for its $15.99 three-course summer dinner special (add a glass of wine for just $3). And for the first time in its history, the restaurant is adding a Sunday brunch — for $18.99. 717 Lake Ave., (561) 582-7666.
French Corner Bistro & Rotisserie: Perhaps the best small French eatery in South Florida, run by a charming French couple, Guy and Sylvia Augier, with nearly four decades of experience in the restaurant biz. For Bastille Day, it will be business as usual, with a $26.95 three-course dinner. But Guy hints that he might join his guests in a holiday toast. 4595 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach; (561) 689-1700.
D’Artagnan: Not a restaurant, but one of the best mail-order purveyors of all things French. They’ve got plenty of Bastille Day specials, including a pâté sampler for $16.99 (not including shipping). Go to dartagnan.com or call (800) 327-8246.

Don’t forget Paris Bakery on Olive street between Evernia & Datura Streets.
There’s also Le Petit Pain in Lantana. The best Croque Monsieur and pain au chocolate. You can find them just off Federal at 123 S 3rd St.
L’Anjou is a wonderful rstuarant and has been for years. I am happy to see that they have a brunch. It should be grat. Can’t wait to try it!
