avenue-415Event Details: Directions, nearby restaurants, more

I love this time of year in South Florida, because even though there’s the possibility of it being gross and humid, there’s still a chance of getting those perfect nights when the heat just drops away and leaves this delicious, placid feeling on your skin.

And as long as you’re outside in the perfection, you might as well stroll through downtown Lake Worth during their Evening on the Avenues event, which is the first and third Fridays of every month.

Peruse the artists’ goodies, like the beautiful bracelet someone very cute bought me last time. Have a cup of beer in the specially designated beer garden area. Listen to the awesome bands, like the breezy Almost Joon.

The music, the scenery and the perfect night are free. Enjoy.

Evening on the Avenues, 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 16, in downtown Lake Worth.
