The other night, I had a Carpenters’ lyrics flashback moment – and if you’ve never had one, I highly recommend them – as I was staring down onto the boats bobbing in the sparkling waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from a window at Carmen’s Restaurant at the Top of the Bridge, at the Boca Raton Bridge Hotel. Because I was, indeed, on the top of the world, looking down on creation, and the only explanations I can find are the amazing view, the stunning food (try the sorbet served in an edible basket made of pralines) and, until the end of the month, a swinging cabaret show. The series started with singer Karen Saunders, and ends with Tony-nominated star Lee Roy Reams (42nd Street). Music, delicious dessert and a beautiful view? You’d be humming, too!

I guess we’re just supposed to take your word on the food except
for the sorbet which seems to rate with you because the container was edible. That’s not a food review- it’s just a post that you were at a hotel. I was at one too. It looks like you’ve only just begun.
These are not full food reviews, but a column called “That Girl” that just gives a short idea of the scene and the feel of a place. It was never meant to be that. Thanks for reading! And it’s worth a full review!
does anyone here know how to write a restaurant (food) review? ANYONE?
As Leslie wrote earlier, this is NOT a food review. This is a short column designed to give one person’s quick opinion of a place. We are not promoting these as reviews. Reviews can be found in the dining section. We encourage you to look there. Thank you.

what is wrong with you people? This is nightclubs and bars section, NOT Rest. Review. DOES ANYONE READ?
