THE RESTAURANT: Max’s Grille in Boca Raton
In the simplicity of Max’s Radiatore Chicken Pasta is a sweet medley of flavors that have played together beautifully, pleasing customers for 20 years.
“If we ever made an attempt to remove it (from the menu) there would be riots by the front door,” says executive chef Patrick Broadhead. “It’s one of our most iconic dishes.”

Tender roasted chicken, pasta, broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes are tossed in a balsamic pan sauce and sprinkled with pine nuts and a nice dollop of goat cheese (a treat by itself). The tangy goat cheese softens the balsamic reduced sauce and the crispy broccoli and chewy sun-dried tomatoes add a brightness to the dish.
“It’s simple and complex at the same time,” Broadhead says.
For the price, it’s a large, hearty portion and, between the richness of the pan sauce and the succulent goat cheese, it’s a filling, satisfying dish.
