Do you prefer to get your coffee at one of the big chains? Or has a little place with someone who’s brilliant on the espresso machine caught your coffee-loving heart?
We’d love to know what your favorite local coffee joint is.
If you don’t see your favorite, there’s a blank to write in your vote. If a place gets five write-ins, we’ll add them to the poll (and also include their write-ins in our final tally, of course).
(Also, it doesn’t matter if it’s a place that just serves coffee, or if it’s a restaurant which has a real knack for an after-dinner cup, or a fast-food place that knows its beans.)
We’ll let you know on Monday how this all turns out.
(Oh, and if you have a topic for Taking Your Pulse, hit us up on Twitter at Twitter.com/pbpulse or Facebook at Facebook.com/pbpulse. If we use your topic, we’ll mention you by name — your chance to be “Internet-famous”!)

My kitchen…I can’t afford that foo foo coffee!
Harold’s in Old Northwood is fantasic.
Great ambiance, great coffee and really great Art and Music Events almost every night of the week.
A really cool place to hang out….the anti-starbucks for sure….in that its unique/not a cookie cutter.
Agree completely!! The fresh cold-brewed iced coffee is to die for!!
Hanging out at coffee shops is so 90′s……hehe
Yeah, but Freaker, the ’90s are almost at that 20-year mark where we look back with nostalgia.
