Nice try but its not all about the water. These bagels are nothing like real NY bagels. I think the water is just a gimick. I have had better bagels from other places that use “Florida” water. The only way to get a real NY bagels is to go to NY or have them sent to you by FedEx.

If anybody is in the Port St. Lucie area, stop by Bagel Brothers of New York located in Tradition off of I-95, we have the best bagels around. We have 20 legitimate years in the business, and our slogan is ” It Aint The Water ” so i don’t know what the big hype is. We actually shipped the water back to NY and made them in our location there, just to prove the point. Its called having a great recipe !!!!! Stop by you wont be disappointed.

I went today for the first time. What a gigantic disappointment. “Sorry, sir out toaster is broken.”

Hard to believe a bagel joint doesn’t make provision for their broken toaster.

If necessary, go out and buy one or bring one from home. Don’t ever be without a toaster for those who like their bagels toasted.

I tried to eat there today but after 15 minutes in line and still 15 people in front I was not prepared to wait any longer. They need to redevise their system of a line for take out and a line for eat in. A bagel is not worth waiting half an hour for. I think if they went to waitress service rather than counter service that would also speed things up. The parking lot is small and if everyone is in line for over 30 mins and then has to wait for their food to be brought to their table then there will be no turnover in the parking lot.

I’ve eaten about 5 of their bagels in the past few days; best I’ve had in S. FL and I’ve had quite a few. Weather you think it’s the water, the air, the humidity, ….. you should give it a try; I think you’ll be hooked. Good tuna and chicken salad as well; great coffee.

The bagels and the coffee were as good as advertised. The owner Mr. Fassberg is an absolute genius for being able to replicate NY style tasting bagels in Florida. I look forward to his opening up more stores across the country.

All you people who just love to put old people down should be advised that you will not stay young forever. So,if you see a physically impaired person trying enter a doorway in a restaurant make G-D proud of you /Hold the door for them. And,as for the idiotic remarks about nickels and dimes,well, if a set price is posted for an item there will be no bargaining. THAT’s the price. Oh,how many of you have taken Splenda,sweet’nlow or anything else off of a table? C’mon,be truthful! I would also state that this website is NOT to leave nasties to anyone.If you didn’t like bagels go to BJ’S. It’s $3.49 for 9 bagels. Be nice, people.Some day you will be old and won’t even be able to bite into a bagle.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, I have been to a bagel shop almost daily. Just returned from my 15 mile trip to try their bagels. Very cool how you can watch the process of bagels being made as you wait in the (long) line. The counter is setup very much like a fast food service counter, which is a little impersonal. I really felt like I was at McDonalds because of the POS system. As for the bagels, they ran out of cinammon raisin, which was disappointing. I picked up a few egg and onion. I ate one egg bagel on site with cream cheese. In Brooklyn, when you order this, it’s more of a cream cheese sandwich, and the cream cheese just oozes out everywhere with each bite. It wasn’t so at this restaurant. There was very little cream cheese. Also, NONE of my bagels were hot, not even warm. I find this hard to believe as this is their grand opening morning and I was there at around 9:30am. Also, every one of my bagels feel like day old bagels because they are all hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. Anyone from Brooklyn would expect the bagel to be soft and warm. The bagel tasted just fine, though. Maybe they’re just not putting to much care into the production today because of the enormous volume. Also, I bought a few bottles of their branded water. I have to admit it was very good and reminiscent of Brooklyn water. Note that they do not truck down their water. Rather they produce it on site with a special process to replicate Brooklyn’s great water. I wish them good luck and hope they hear our suggestions, even though they are about 20 yrs late in getting down here!

Just got my free bagels, coffee and water. Bagels were great! Best I’ve had in Floria. I was pleasantly surprised. Anyone who thinks all bagels are the same (and pizza too) is either not a New Yorker or doesn’t appreciate the difference.

Oi Vey! Yes, the water does make a difference. I am a little suspicious of the claim that they can exactly replicate the Brooklyn water from any water system. Translation: we use a water softener.
