If they added a slice of ham and called it Colonel's Chicken Cordon Bleu, the item would get less negative publicity. If you're simply counting calories, and if it was actually 600 calories, that would compare to a few of the Low-Fat Footlong Subway Subs.

Ha Ha, you guys are funny, not. Argueing if something that's not even available here would be good or bad for you to eat. Ha Ha. If you leave off the fried, bacon and sauce plus without the hormones in the chicken it might not be too bad for you if you only ate half of it at once. Our bodies are machines, input plus output equals weight or BMI. I'm almost sure that no one dying of a heart attack ever drove to a fast food restaurant for their last meal instead of the hospital.

I think this looks fantastic, but of course I just started eating all healthy these past couple weeks cause of this new hottie I'm trying to score. I was tempted though to run out and investigate.

I've never been a big fan of the bread, I'm glad they ditched that and just concentrated on the goodness.

Check out my blog on this awesome creation at... http://www.gosellcrazy.com/2009/08/kfc-doubledown-sandwich/

@ robin banks

I understand you may not eat it because you are not sure what you may be putting in your body but for me I just hope the FDA does there job when it comes to checkin out fast food products.. I'm also not a gym rat health fanatic as you put. People who routinely go to the gym go 3-5 days a week. How else would you expect results? I also am not a calorie counter although I do estimate how much I put in one given day...Point is if i decided to eat this every other Saturday for the rest of my life I don't think I would add one ounce of fat or harm my body in anyway..I"m 25, great shape and I love friend chicken, cheese, bacon and I LOVE KFC.. I do exercise regularly and do not eat junk everyday. If someone wants to do that go ahead its America and nothings stopping you. I'm just glad I have the option to eat this thing.

Manuel, I agree with your points, but why do you write like that?
Surely you realize that you're writing in a "street" style and it does NOT come across as intelligent.

At 15, it's not too late for you to focus more on the quality of your writing and expression. Stay in school, and take it seriously. It's what's going to guarantee a good future for you--and you will not want to be sounding like you did in what you just wrote. Try to put some excellence into the things you do--even if it's just spelling things right and punctuating your sentences the right way.

Robin Banks, you're all wrong. "G" is right. ANYTHING can be enjoyed--IF DONE IN MODERATION.

There's nothing wrong with exercising 4-5 times a week.
Some people (obviously not you) do like staying fit, and the exercise ends up truly being enjoyable to them (partly because when it's finished, there is a sense of accomplishment and having done something good for your own well-being).

Well fortunately for us not everyone is a Gym Rat Fanatic Health Nut that cant enjoy themselves unless they know how many calories are involved. 4-5 times a week....Geeze Louise. I'd say thats an addiction. I too dont eat fast food, simply because I'm unsure of exactly whats in it and how its prepared. Chicken fillets in place of bread, covering cheese, bacon and "sauce"...? Yikes...it should really be called "heart attack in a box". You sure you'd eat that G?

YES!!!! Finally something to slap those filtered bottled water drinking, sweatbands and biker shorts wearing, power-walking in tha rain, salad eating rabbits! Meat the way it's suppose to be..not even a bun to slow down the warm gooey goodness as it slithers down our gullets, leaving a film of grease that can be tasted hours later. Oh the heaven of the deep fried pure saturated fat globbed with a mound of pure fresh butter covered in thick bacon cooked in its own juices. Layer upon layer of melted cheese the way God intended with pure milk, not that low-fat crap nutristionilsts try to push on the rest of us. Imagine the joy of bringing one home and creating your own toppings, like southern red bean chilli or caramel covered baked pickles or deep fried onions rings slathered in mayo! Yes TY KFC for given me back the freedom to enjoy food the way I want to, to eat for pleasure sake and not just as a chore. Someone pass me the butter cause I'll will be going for 3rds!

Re: OMG this is sooo disgusting!! Way to make people even more F A T!!! UGH GROSS!!!
------------------------------------------------------------

Any fast food is fine as long as its taken in moderation.... I love KFC and I am extremely fit. I only eat it every now and then and I work out 4-5 times a week... I would love to eat this every now and then.

If you eat this every day and live a non-active lifestyle then its your own fault not KFC's
