For those wine lovers with a little bit of extra dough on their hands, this weekend could be a glorious time. In addition to Wine, Dine and Design, the Boca Bacchanal is returning to Boca for three days of wine-soaked glory.

The $275 Vitner dinner Friday night is sold out, but that doesn’t mean the fun stops. Saturday night at the Boca Raton Resort and Club offers a “Bacchanal and auction” with food and wine and a $225 price tag.

If you’re more of an afternoon drinker, than don’t miss the “Grand Tasting” Sunday afternoon from noon to 3 p.m. at the Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park Amphitheatre. Tickets are $85 pre-event and $100 at the gate.

And for those swirlers with less cash (perhaps due to fuller wine cellars?) there’s even an event for you. Don’t miss the wine seminar “Therapy of Aromas” at 11 to noon at the Boca Raton Museum of Art Auditorium for a mere $25. This event is led by Sommelier in Residence Charlie Arturaola.

Keep your eyes peeled. You might see a Swirl Girl or two wandering around Sunday.

Check them out online at www.bocabacchanal.com for more information.

About the Swirl Girls

JGwen (Dry)
What I drink: Old world reds, medium-bodied, dry, earthy. I've been into Spanish Riojas lately, but I recently tried a great Burgundy at a wine tasting in Lake Worth...

Lynn (Bold)
What I drink: I've been a red wine lady (is that like a red hat lady?) for years, though dry white wines woo me well.

Jennifer (Earthy)
What I drink: I prefer reds, although I can't deny the delight of a Riesling on a hot summer day.
