Event Details: Ticket info, directions, more

Jensen Beach’s Pineapple Festival is quickly becoming a favorite local event. Last year the festival drew more than 45,000 people.

One problem: Country music fans might have a hard time deciding which night to go.

Pat Green, Texas’ favorite son, performs at 8 p.m. today. He surely will play music from his most-recent album, What I’m For, released in January. But you’ll also hear the songs that made Green a staple on country music radio and television: Wave on Wave and Feels Just Like It Should.

On Saturday, Dancing with the Stars sweetheart Julianne Hough takes the stage at 8 p.m. With only one studio album under her belt, Hough doesn’t have as much material to choose from, but she makes up for it with her performance and her mad dancing skills. And she can sing! And she’s stunning!

If you have a teenager, Honor Society, who opened for the Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks, will perform music from their album Fashionably Late at 1 p.m. Sunday.

But there’s lots more entertainment, including lots of local performers and Wade Henry’s Juggling and Unicycle Show and the Maximum Velocity BMX/Skater Pro Stunt Show.

Folks who love to shop will find arts and crafts vendors and a Bahamian marketplace. Don’t miss the Junkanoo Parade at 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday is Family Day, with unlimited midway rides from noon to close for $20.

When: 6 p.m. to midnight today, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday

Tickets: $15 at the gate, includes all concerts and events. Kids 12 and younger are free. Midway rides, games and food are extra.

Parking: Take the free shuttle bus from the parking area behind Treasure Coast Square mall. The bus runs every 15 minutes from 5 p.m.-1 a.m. today; 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. There are also several parking lots within walking distance of the festival site. Local residents and businesses offer parking on their property for a fee.
