sure hope you goin to reach deep in your pockets and put up the funds to cover the cost of feed , vet care and enclosures you people talk all this save the animals from your couch never lifting an actual finger easy to do without actually doing the work this place isnt making huge profits it all goes back to the animals and no people want an experience they dont give unselfishly ever animal at mccarthys is well taken care of and they have saved more animals in a week the. you have you whole life debate that!
The last comment is someone who just watched the video and decided to base their judgment on a few min clip instead of coming to the facility and experiencing it for them I guarantee you would have a different view. Does anyone know about how the tiger population is rapidly decreasing? 3500 left in the world in the wild and in the next 10 to 15years going to be extinct if we don’t help. People can only watch so many documents about it or read about it but What McCarthy’s wildlife is doing is amazing opportunity by allowing people to interact with a baby tiger to show up close and personal what needs to be done to help. They follow the rules and laws so it is not dangerous. The money that they gain goes straight to helping raise the cubs does anyone know how much it cost just for the milk?? A case of 12 12oz cans is 50 dollars do you know how many cans they go through the day almost the whole case! The community and its visitors is what helps them be able to give a good home to these cubs and make sure they are well feed. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. McCarthy’s and there staff are hard workers with a goal to care for these animals. That is love for the job you do. If you still doubt all this just go on trip advisor and see nothing but 5 star comments about the people who actually visited and enjoyed it so much. Thank you
The first comment I mean sorry for miss type
I am happy to know that this wonderful program is happening in my back yard. The only problem is I have not received a reply to my emails to make reservations for a tour. The phone number listed redirects you to their website, however it seems the only way to reach them is through email. It’s too bad they are unreachable, they could be missing a lot of donations.
Repectfully, but disappointed,
Julie
We have been swamped with hundreds of calls and e-mails. We are all booked up for the next two weeks and we only have July 11-16 avaliable and that will be booked up by the end of the day. So if at first you don’t succeed try,try again.

Folks, if you’ve never done something like this, once you have, you will realize that if you added a 0 or two to the price it is still absolutely worth every penny. For the price you pay to take your family or friends to see a movie or a decent dinner, you all can interact with a real live Tiger! Do you know how many people would give anything for such an opportunity? It’s an added bonus that at the same time you are helping those who are donating their time and effort freely.
Aweseome experience July 16. Tour led by Genevieve was super informative… she’s an excellent tour guide. Learned so much. Highlight, of course, was the tiger cub interaction at the end. I believe ours was Jirani, the male? Last group at 1p. I’ve recommended supporting this sanctuary to all my friends, to take the tour even though the tiger cubs romp is over. Great facility.
