Ty Pennington, host of 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' and 'The Revolution', will be at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino on Thursday.

Who better than Ty Pennington to celebrate the grand opening of the revamped Seminole Casino Coconut Creek? Every week on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (I cry every time I watch that show), Pennington would get the crowd to chant “Move that bus!”

And with the casino itself undergoing a makeover, you’ll get your chance to do the same on Thursday with Pennington, now one of the hosts of the ABC daytime series The Revolution. At noon, Pennington and Seminole Tribe member James Billie will be among those shouting “Move that bus!” at the new casino entranceway.

The Seminole Casino Coconut Creek expanded first in 2007 and have just completed a $150 million expansion that includes a new parking garage, three new restaurants and a permanent 1,200 seat entertainment venue, the Pavilion. They had already opened the non-smoking 9,000-square-foot Stax Poker Lounge in late December.

The new restaurants are all about New York. NYY Steak only has only one other location — Yankee Stadium. There’s also the 1st Street Deli and Sorrisi Italian Restaurant.

The casino also has its new permanent entertainment venue for concerts, VIP events and shows. With just 1,200 seats, there isn’t a bad one in the house.

The ceremonies, which begin at 11:30 a.m. in the casino’s new valet parking area, will also feature a donation to the SOS Children’s Village for a new roof makeover.
