It’s never too early for Halloween festivities in Palm Beach County. Three spooky staples are set to open: X-Scream Halloween, Spookyville and Fright Nights.

G-Star School of the Arts’ X-Scream Halloween begins today at the school, 2030 S. Congress Ave. in West Palm Beach. In 2008, it was featured among the Travel Channel’s 13 scariest haunted attractions in America.

The annual event features six haunted attractions, outdoor fright zones, live entertainment, carnival games, food vendors and more.

The South Florida Fairgrounds kicks off Halloween entertainment Thursday with Spookyville and Fright Nights.

Spookyville is a place for trick-or-treating loaded with fun in a safe, family-friendly environment. Children younger than 12 also can experience games, crafts, rides, food and attractions.

The terror-filled Fright Nights is not for the faint of heart. Visitors will endure three new haunted houses, several scare zones and the monster midway.
