When it comes to rides at the South Florida Fair, our voters definitely went for the thrills.

Tied for the top spot are the Sky Rider, which sends riders several stories high on a swinging arm, and the speedy Super Himalaya. Both garnered 16.7 percent of the vote.

Third place was also a tie between the classic Giant (Ferris) Wheel, the high-rising and quick-moving Zipper and the spinning, floor-dropping Gravitron, which all had 11.1 percent of the vote.

Write-ins included another all-time classic, the bumper cars.
