There are times during the year when it seems like there's a big festival in Palm Beach County every weekend. (Bruce R. Bennett / Palm Beach Post)

More: Past polls, results

When it comes to festivals, you don’t need much of an excuse to put one on around Palm Beach County — we’ve got plenty of them.

Whether it’s displaying art by local artists, celebrating a mighty vegetable or fruit or, really, no reason at all, it’s clear — festivals are something people down here are really good at.

You’ll notice we’re asking for your “non-SunFest” favorite — Taking Your Pulse is going to be doing quite a bit with SunFest in the weeks ahead, but we wanted to make sure we gave our other local fests their due before that.

As always, if you see something we missed, there’s a blank down there for your write-in answer. We’ll let you know who wins on Monday, so voting’s open between now and then.

Artigras will win this one since it is the most visited.

…c’mon, you didn’t even include the Oktoberfest at the American German Club in Lantana? That festival has been off the hook for years. I can’t wait ’till it starts, and I am saddened when it is over. Fortunately, the Feast of Little Italy comes right after…so I’m OK again.

  3. rjr says:

WPB may have a lot of festivals but it doesn’t hold a candle to Delray or Jupiter. Why?… because WPB is the Ghetto.

  4. Blue Angle says:

    Moonfest

PrideFest of the Palm Beaches has been the last weekend in March for the last 18 years. There is an amazing LGBT community in Palm Beach County that you are forgetting about. The LGBT market has approximately $860 billion in disposable income.78 percent of LGBT people indicate they would prefer to buy from companies and organizations that advertise to the LGBT market, and over 35 percent of LGBT households have income greater than $50,000 per year. How about showing a little love, diversity and social inclusion?

  6. Missi says:

What about pridefest? You forgot that one.. Running for 13 years now

  7. Will shooster says:

I’m going to PRIDEFEST of the palm beaches, screw all the other events!!!!

  8. Sue Sylvester says:

I have Pride with Glee too! I’ll be heading to PrideFest of the Palm Beaches both Saturday and Sunday! And the afterparties too at The Lounge, Fort Dix, Madhatter Lounge, The Bar Lake Worth, HG Roosters and the Cottage!

  9. Jessica Beane says:

I am going to Pridefest in Lake Worth….pride with glee for both saturday and sunday

  10. Joe Fana says:

I find Pridefest in Lake Worth to be a great festival. One of the only festivals I know which includes a parade down the main street. Also luv the after Parties at many of the local gay bars!

  11. nb says:

I find Lake Worth to be GAY

    • Julie says:

“NB”- gleefully, we are! We are also gay in West Palm, Palm Beach, Delray, Royal Palm, Wellington, Palm Springs, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, the Acreage, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Manalapan, Hypoluxo, Lantana, Lake Clarke Shores….well, you get the idea.

  12. John says:

No matter who wins I think the Feast of Little Italy in Jupiter is the best all around festival. Has National entertainment, great food for everyone,Fun for the kids, cooking demonstrations for the moms, and wine tastings for the interested.

  13. Patricia says:

Everyone who thinks that something else should have been on there, there’s a blank spot to add what you want!

  14. Dax Watsky says:

I have been to all other events and nothing compares to the fun I had at the Irish Festival!!!!!!

  15. Mick Walshe says:

So according to the results when the poll closed -as shown above – Irish Fest finished in 3rd place. A great result and a tribute to all Irish Fest supporters
