Editor’s Note: This is the only result we’ll be publishing for this week. Our other poll on New Year’s events had too few votes.

It’s generally the most heavily attended event in Palm Beach County, year in year out, so it’s no shock that SunFest is your choice for top entertainment event.

The five-day event pulled in 41.7 percent of the vote, easily outdistancing the competition.

Four other events ended up in a tie for second: Jimmy Buffett’s Cruzan Amphitheatre show on April 23, Moonfest, Buzz Bake Sale and the South Florida Fair. Each event had 5.6 percent of the vote.

Among the write-in votes were Alice Cooper’s show at Hard Rock Live, k.d. lang at the Kravis Center, ArtiGras in Jupiter and the recent Jazz Arts Music Society event at CityPlace.
