Hollywood heavy hitters and fashion elite made their way to the 2009 CFDA Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

The CFDA honors contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts.

The nominees and honorees included Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and a special director’s tribute to First Lady Michelle Obama.

Some of the stars in attendance included musician Jack White, actresses Molly Sims, Kerry Washington, Ashley Olsen and super model Heidi Klum.
