You might be surprised by who made the top list of the 2009 top celebrity givers.

The late Paul Newman tops the list with an astounding $21 million.

His charity reportedly gave to causes like health, education and environmental initiatives.

Brad and Angelina came in at number 2 with $13.4 million.

Others who made the top 12 list included Oprah, Mel Gibson, Barbara Streisand and Sam Waterson from Law & Order.

The full listed will be featured in this Sunday’s Parade.

What would the world be like if celebrity and other rich people would not give away some of their wealth?

Thank you to all with big, warm hearts.
    Thank you Barbara Streisand.

  2. Steve Maduri says:

I remember when Bernie Madoff would make this list. I think Barbara Streisand lost money with him.

  3. Dr. Phil says:

Dr. Picower would have made this list if he were still with us.

  4. Dr. Phil says:

This charitable giving will cease when the wealthy are no longer allowed to write off some of their charitable deductions. You can thank the current administration for that. They would rather spend your hard earned money the way they want to instead of how you want to.
