He may be one of Hollywood’s hottest stars, but Leonardo DiCaprio admits that his superstar status post-Titanic has gotten in the way of his love life.

“I had better success meeting girls before ‘Titanic’,” DiCaprio told Rolling Stone.

“My interactions with them didn’t have all the stigma behind it, not to mention there wasn’t a perception of her talking to me for only one reason,” he said.

He also revealed that he’s glad his partying days are behind him now that the paparazzi are so out of control.

“I got to be wild and nuts, and I didn’t suffer as much as people do now, where they have to play it so safe that they ruin their credibility,” the Inception star said. “I didn’t care what anyone thought.”
