The Real Housewives of D.C. star and accused White House gatecrasher Michaele Salahi isn’t happy about her recent appearance on The View.

On Wednesday’s show, Salahi was being interviewed by Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd when Whoopi Goldberg came on the set from backstage and touched Salahi on the arm and asked her to get back on the topic of conversation: the night she and her husband, Tariq, crashed President Barack Obama’s state dinner last fall.
According to a statement on ABC’s Web site, Salahi told producers that Goldberg “hit” her.
Goldberg doesn’t deny the backstage confrontation happened but denies she hit Salahi. “…I was told that she thought I hit her. So I went up to her and I told her that she knew I didn’t hit her, and yeah, you know how I said it — choice words,” she explained on The View Thursday.
“I make no apologies for my choice words,” Goldberg added.
Salahi appeared on the show Wednesday to promote Bravo’s Real Housewives of D.C., which premieres Thursday. She and her husband are currently under investigation by a grand jury in connection with their attendance at President Obama’s first state dinner in November.

Celebrity jail mugs
Frankly anyone who crashes a White House party unenvited is looking for publicity and trouble. What ever happened to the good old “400″ blue book of real society families? The women who appear on these Housewives shows are certainly not society, they are trailer trash with a few bucks.
