Witherspoon, who co-stars with the Twilight heartthrob in the upcoming period drama Water for Elephants, recently dished to USA Today about R-Pattz’s aesthetic charms:

“I’m not gonna lie. He’s a very, very handsome man.”

Despite her obvious appreciation for Pattinson’s scruffy good looks, Witherspoon has no intentions of trying to lure him away from his beloved Kristen Stewart. She thinks Stewart is a great match for Pattinson, reports Celebuzz.

“He’s sweet and loving and has the nicest family. Kristen is really sweet, too. He’s a very sensitive soul. He worked really hard. He looks great in the movie, too.”

Water for Elephants hits theaters on April 15, 2011.
