Monjack said that he requested specific language be added to the will. According to him, the formalized will reads “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”

Murphy, 32, died on Dec. 20 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack, called 911 after Murphy collapsed in the shower. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Earlier this month, officials identified pneumonia as the primary cause of death, complicated by prescription drugs and low-blood count. The coroner said Murphy’s death was accidental, but preventable.
