The Palm Beach Post

Join the Post’s 2011 Holiday Cookie Parade!

Are your holiday cookies ready for their close-up? Enter your most scrumptious confections in The Post’s Holiday Cookie Parade and they just might find sugar stardom.

If they’re really delicious, they may get chosen parade Grand Marshal, the top prize in this year’s cookie contest. We’ll feature the winning cookie and other parade luminaries in the Food & Dining section of Wed., Dec. 14.

COOKIE CONTEST RULES:

• Contest is open to all nonprofessional bakers, of all ages.

• Cookie recipes do not have to be original – but if they are from a printed source, you must list the source for copyright purposes.

• Bake a dozen of your best holiday cookies. Pack them up in a non-returnable, airtight container. Pack fragile cookies carefully.

• Fill out an entry form. (Click here to get a copy) Tape this form to your cookie container.

• Drop them off at Cookie Headquarters (The Palm Beach Post building, 2751 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach) on Tues., Nov. 29, anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Our Holiday Cookie panel will select a Grand Marshal (who wins a $200 gift card for Publix or Publix GreenWise) and honorable mentions. Cookies are judged on overall excellence – taste and décor.
