As he gets ready to shoot the film Rock of Ages in Miami, Russell Brand decided to take in some local sights on Sunday, heading out to Jungle Island.

Spending time with an alligator, and making friends with Gizmo, a Capuchin monkey, Brand also signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans during his time at the tourist stop.

Afterwards, Brand decided to get a little more wild, as he had personal watercrafts brought out to the house he’s renting. He narrowly avoided disaster: Brand’s driving is so poor he very nearly crashed into a cruise ship.
