A few weeks ago, Barenaked Ladies singer Ed Robertson took part in the Olympic torch relay, leading to the international spectacle of the games.

And today, his band, known for quirky hits like One Week, Old Apartment, Pinch Me, Brian Wilson and If I Had A Million Dollars, will take part in a different sort of spectacle — "Just Us Girls," the women-centric festival of food, fitness, shopping and fun sponsored by 97.9 WRMF.

Held this time at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott, the event features a fashion show by Apricot Lane, a pole dance fitness demonstration by Cheeky Fitness, belly dance, a boot camp, and then the appearance by Barenaked Ladies at 9:30 p.m. There is also a silent auction at 6 p.m. to benefit the South Florida affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure.

Tickets for the event are $10. For more information, go to WRMF.com .
