Take a trip to the Caribbean without ever leaving terra firma at the ninth annual Reggae Fest this weekend.
Celebrate the free spirit of island life with music and food at this two-day family festival that is expected to draw 10,000 people to Lake Worth. Colorful costumed performers, artists and vendors will be on hand serving up such traditional food as jerk chicken, rice, oxtails, plus more American fare including hamburger and hot dogs.
But the real draw is the music.
Performers on Saturday include The Reazin (10 a.m.-noon), Rafijah (12:30-2 p.m.), Visions (2:30–4:30 p.m.), CMF Band (5-7:30 p.m.), Red Rat (8-9 p.m.) and Anthony B (9-10 p.m.). On Sunday, Marijah (noon- 2 p.m.), Sweet Justice (2:30–4:30 p.m.) and the Spam Allstars (5-7 p.m.) perform.

When: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Sunday
Where: Bryant Park, on the corner of Lake Avenue and South Golfview Road in downtown Lake Worth
Tickets: $10. Children younger than 12 are free. Bring canned food for Lake Worth Haitian Relief Efforts.

    Last year we had Ky-Mani Marley and the addmission was $5.00… This year we have NOBODY and the addmission is $10.00 YOU FIGURE IT OUT

    I wanted to go, but sunfest is in 2 weeks, so I will keep my money for that-Damian Marley and other top singers will be there-it is well worth it!

    Nobody? Wow..Anthony B is awesome..Anthony B’s first CD was released in 1996. Since then,he has released another 20 CDs, over 1,000 Singles,
    and appears on hundreds of other albums.

    Red Rat was great.. he had so much energy, great performance!!!… his new artist was good too.. even though she’s new I loved the song, especially the last one she did… I’m Good…That was the first time saw Anthony B, he had the crowd going too…It was overall great

    I love Red Rat!!!!! OHHHHH NOOOOOOOO… The $10 was worth it!!!! I went to the Marley Fest in Miami and it was whack, and I”m a huge Reggae/Dancehall fan…No offense @paulette but I”m tired of the marley’s… The girl that performed was a cutie, she did her thing… looking forward to her in the future.. she’s gonna be big!!!! Anthony B is the best.. I had fun with him on stage :)

    Anthony B is the mannnnnn!!! Mi love him!!!! Is he married??? Big ups Red Rat I Love Weed.. i think that’s the name of the tune :) Lov it… He had the whole crowd going!!! I was puzzled about the other light guy came on stage…but Pascal was good… she was callin the freaks.. i need to know where I can get that song!!! They brought the love back… are they together????? I can’t believe u people complained about $10.. what a shame.
