The Florida Classical Ballet Theatre offers a family-friendly ballet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and other dances next week, featuring principal dancers Lily Ojea and Marshall Levin.

Shakespeare’s comedy, written around 1594, portrays the events surrounding the marriage of the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta. The play features three interlocking plots, connected by the wedding celebration, and set simultaneously in the woodland, and in the realm of Fairyland.

The twinkling, fairy-filled production is set to Mendelssohn’s beautiful music.
