It takes more than one mere man to portray Elvis.

And for the men who do, it’s not a job. It’s a true labor of love.

Please don’t call them impersonators. These are tribute artists who don’t feel like imitators.

Featuring finalists from Elvis Presley Enterprises’ worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, the Elvis Lives Tour follows Presley’s career, with each artist representing Elvis during different stages, from his youthful exuberance and boyish good looks, to his full-on sequined and bedazzled glory. This multi-media show also features footage of the icon from Graceland’s archives.

The performers include:

BILL CHERRY: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest winner from 2009. The son of a Pentacostal minister, Cherry shares a love for Southern gospel music with the King. Cherry has been a fan of Presley’s since childhood and he’s been keeping Presley’s memory alive for more than 20 years.

KEVIN MILLS: He finished third in the 2009 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis and has performed on all three sailings of The Elvis Cruise. When he was performing in a rockabilly band in the ‘80s, they included a few Elvis songs in their set. Fans were always telling him he’d make a good Elvis, so he entered a contest.

BEN KLEIN: He began singing gospel music in the choir, and has been playing music with his family since childhood. He was inspired to play Elvis in 2001 and has performed professionally since 2002. He says his greatest personal achievement was winning the 2010 Collingwood Elvis Festival Gospel Competition. Klein was first runner-up in 2011 in the Ultimate Elvis Competition.

VICTOR TREVINO JR.: He is from Fort Worth, Texas, grew up in a musical family and is no stranger to the stage. He began singing and acting in local productions of Grease, Annie and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Trevino specializes in the early ‘50s and ‘60s-era Elvis. He’s been a top-five finalist in Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contests in 2008, ‘09 and ‘10.

As a special treat, Lori Russo portrays the ultra sexy Ann-Margret, who starred with him in Viva Las Vegas.

Ben Klein IS on the tour, but that photo is from last years tour, and that is NOT Ben Klein. It is Leo Days. You might want to change the photo caption…
