Some tours need no explaining.

U2 will put on a multimedia extravaganza. Coldplay’s Chris Martin will hammer on his beat-up stand-up piano at the center of the stage.

And Bruce Springsteen will play songs from a million different points on his timeline and the show will go on for three hours.

(And if you love Bruce, it won’t be long enough.)

Springsteen and the E Street Band will be playing Sept. 13 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise. Tickets are now on sale.

• The tour for So You Think You Can Dance, featuring dancers from the fifth season of the show, will make a stop at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena on Oct. 22. Tickets are now on sale.

• Rap/rock/alt band She Wants Revenge makes a stop at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Sept. 16. Tickets are on sale.

• Rapper/action film star DMX brings DJ GQ and others to Revolution Live on Aug. 9. Tickets are on sale.

• Singer-songwriter Joshua Radin — whose self-description of his “Whisper Rock” style actually grew out of his frustration with interviewers — plays Fort Lauderdale’s Culture Room on Nov. 11. Tickets are on sale.

• Acoustic rockers Days of the New hit Culture Room on Aug. 15. Tickets are on sale.

• Emo pioneers The Get Up Kids play Revolution Live on Nov. 12. Tickets are on sale.
