Good news for those who love Blink-182 for their slightly less than mature outlook on life: Four years apart hasn’t killed that at all.

According to the Los Angeles Times‘ music blog Pop & Hiss, Blink guitarist/singer Tom DeLonge is still unafraid of any sexual entendre or explicit language. DeLonge’s antics at their recent show in Irvine, Calif., prompted bassist/singer Mark Hoppus to remark “Donny, you’re like a child!”, quoting from the film The Big Lebowski.
It’s likely the kid-like behavior might be helping the band, and especially drummer Travis Barker, get over the loss of good friend DJ Adam “AM” Goldstein. After rescheduling a few shows following Goldstein’s death on Aug. 28, Blink-182 soldiers on with a comeback tour, which makes a local stop Saturday at Cruzan Amphitheatre.
And it’s not as if the band is as immature off stage — they donated $100,000 to the burn centers that helped treat and rehabilitate Barker following the near-fatal plane crash that also involved Goldstein.
Also appearing Saturday are Fall Out Boy, The All-American Rejects and Asher Roth.
