Clapton is always pure gold. An english gentleman that happens to have a 40 year Rock and Blues pedigree that astounds. He may be a bit road weary but for a guy who'll be 65 this month, he balls out rocked last night. One more show and then he gets two months to be a dad until Crossroads in June. Roger D. was the maximum r&b he's always been. A force. Pete Townshend's brother Simon was a stand out as well, singing 'Going Mobile'. Thank you Eric. Peace. Well said sister! I was in the front row! An amazing night of music!! I am Who fanatic so I would say I doled out big bucks to see Roger play for 50 minutes..but was amazed by Clapton once again,the greatest guitarist in the world!! Loved seeing Roger and his band get another standing ovation from the Clapton faithful(as they have been receiving in other cities on this tour)! Great article and reviews Kate,thanks! Clapton did a perfect job performing what is the second from the last date of the tour. He probably is tired and ready to go home to his family, but proved to be the professional that gives it his best right up to the last show of the tour.
