Over the past 25 years, Janet Jackson has been a sure bet to draw the arena-sized crowd to any of her shows.
However, Jackson is taking a different tack this time around, playing smaller theaters for her “Up Close And Personal Tour”. Among the smaller venues is the Fillmore Miami Beach, where she will perform on Dec. 5.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Her tour is very different — she will be performing music only from her LP Number Ones. That album has 35 songs, all of which hit the No. 1 spot on a Billboard music chart during her career.
Jackson’s shows will be less focused on effects and big numbers and more on the songs themselves.

It’s a great article and I think anyone who is welcome to this more intimate performance should feel blessed to be with such talent.
The set list does not change at each show, and has grown well beyond the initial 35 shows (at 70+ now).

The setlist does change every show. I’ve seen this show 7 different times and not one is exactly the same from night to night. She does have a skeleton she works around but it certainly not the same. It’s a great show and hope she brings it back to LA. So much fun on Thursday

She is the best that’s for sure…I would so love to see her in concert..but way up here in Canada, we don’t get many of the biggies..cept for Kiss when they were here but they were too far away…LOVE YOU JANET SO MUCH XOXO
