Had the official 10 year commemorative selling tshirt poster bumper sticker and blue suede ribbon on tv and at Graceland. What an experience. Sivle is Elvis spelled backwards and we had a dozen investors who funded the operation. Used 800 numbers and still have the original poster and artwork.

Jayson..... Beatles maybe but even they said what an influence Elvis was to them the other two great singes but only that.
Douglas....Micheal are you kidding great singer and dance but ...plactic surgeries, criminal charges, holding his crotch all the time....just the tip of the iceburg
Elvis...songs, videos, movies (not great but entertaining),charity, wide range ...soul,country,gospel,ballads,rock the list goes on and on.Could have dodged the draft but didn't and refused to get cushy assignment they offered. Gave away cars, strong charity work, NO ONE comes close to the KING

Elvis Presley remains the Greatest Entertainer who ever lived. He was the complete package - he had the talent, the voice, the charisma, the stage act,the moves, could act well when given a good script e.g. 'King Creole'; 'Jailhouse Rock'; 'Wild In The Country'etc., and was also extremely humble with it. Elvis could, and did, sing in virtually every musical genre available to him. This is one of the features which makes him far superior to The Betales, Michael Jackson or Madonna etc. Of course, Elvis was more than just an entertainer but quite an historical figure. It was he who broke down social and cultural barriers in 1950's U.S.A. making it easier for all artists who followed in his footsteps paving the way for the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King. Elvis remains the Biggest Record Seller of all time Worldwide. He is also the most impersonated artist ever and his image and voice are everywhere from Hollywood Movies to Soap Operas To Stage Shows to TV Advertisements. There will never be another like him. He was an American Treasure and truly 'sui generis'.
