John Mayer sort of goes all throwback on us in his latest — sounding like an older, wiser version of the guy on his very first album in a song called “Who Says”.

The first song off his new LP, Battle Studies, “Who Says” has an accompanying video which shows the sometimes-wannabe-Mississippi-bluesman enjoying a night on the town with pals. He tells AOL’s Popeater: “I want people to watch the video and feel like they hung out with me for a night, which is to say tired and exhausted.”
