FOTOfusion, the Palm Beach Photographic Center’s huge annual learning op, is “where creativity and technology fuse.”
For 17 years, photographers have converged on the centre for this annual event that features more than 100 workshops, lectures, panel discussions, multimedia presentations, portfolio reviews, hands-on computer classes, demonstrations and photo shoots, taught by an impressive faculty.
The presentation of the prestigious FOTOmentor Award to Bill Eppridge, staff photographer during the golden era of photojournalism, is sure to be a highlight. His work also will be featured in this year’s FOTOmentor Exhibition.
A series of lectures is open to the public for $10, including Fast Track to Super Shots: Ten Easy Ways to Improve Your Digital Photos with Julie Adair King, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today, and the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition with Carlton Ward, 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
