Last week, my adventures were all about fanciness. This week, they’re all about those hidden, ordinary gems hiding in the places you always drive past, tucked on a side street, or in the case of BackStreet Grille and Sportsbar in Boca, a strip mall. The Mister and I were looking for a place that would be showing the recent Baltimore Orioles/New York Yankees series on TV - we may have been the only ones in the area who wouldn’t be rooting for the Yankees. We stumbled on BSG, some place I’d never been, and were thrilled to find a bar spot right under a TV, a seven-day a week two for one happy hour, and a huge selection of burgers - the non-meatatarians among us will be thrilled to know that the veggie burger can be substituted for any of the choices. Bad news - the O’s lost. Emphatically so. But I’ve found a new favorite. Equally emphatically.
