The Cookie Contest at Christmas In Yesteryear Village takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday with winners announced at 8:30 p.m. in Yesteryear Village, South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd. Cookie categories: most creative, best tasting, most festive, biggest, best from Yesteryear Period (1895-1945) and best made by a South Florida Fair volunteer. Bring a dozen cookies in a disposable container with a copy of the recipe and the cookie entry. All recipes submitted will be included in a new section of the Yesteryear Village Cookbook.
