The summer is swinging already at Cruzan Amphitheatre, and beyond a full concert roster (Barenaked Ladies, Dave Matthews, Sugarland, Journey), there are more than a few developments unfolding during its 17th season. Cruzan general manager Joe Nieman offers a tour:

The food truck revolution rolls into Cruzan: The venue is offering delights served from food trucks, the hottest venues on four wheels. The Stocked N Loaded trucks, one at each end of the amphitheatre, are run by Chef Dave Rashty, formerly of Palm Beach’s Cafe Boulud. Get your alligator chili, Vietnamese BBQ and fried green tomatoes right here!

Big food and brew without the big financial to-do: This summer, Cruzan is offering 12-ounce Budweiser Select drafts for $4, making your trip to the concession stand last a lot longer - and cost a lot less. And since you’re up anyway, try a value meal with either a cheeseburger, hot dog or chicken tenders with fries and a soda between $11-15, along with a free refill on the 32 ounce souvenir soda cup.

Tag! You’re it!: Because we live in a culture where “people love seeing themselves,” fans will get the chance to be photographed at various spots around the venue and then tag themselves on Cruzan’s Facebook, Twitter and other sites.

Wheel! Of! Free Stuff!: At every show, spin the Live Nation Prize Wheel for a chance to win T-shirts, posters and even free tickets!

More fancy with your schmancy: For frequent concert fliers, Cruzan offers upgraded service in its VIP boxes, which you may have seen on the way to your ordinary seats. Starting at around $200 per seat, you get wait service, great views, passage through the VIP entrance and private club area and more. (A bonus - the VIP section has its own bathrooms.)
