I usually write about the fun I’ve had at a fabulous event or as a purveyor of cocktails, but it’s imperative that one’s clothing matches the fabulous surroundings. Recently, I had a happening pop up without time to plunder the That Girl Headquarters closets. Fortunately, I was close to ASquared, a nifty little boutique located near Sushi Jo, in what used to be a great wine shop, meaning there’s good feelings lingering. In a showroom that resembles a stylish friend’s living room, among a bright, chic collection of dresses, tunics and great jewelry, I found a great, flowy maxi dress, which happened to look great, and which happened to be on sale. Sales? Convenience? Near sushi? I’m sold. As was that dress. To me.
