MENU

Italian eatery and pizzeria, with salads, hot and cold subs, wide assortment of pizza, pasta, chicken, calzones, veal, shrimp, desserts.

ATMOSPHERE

Warm and cozy, with Italian-themed mural on the front window and a small indoor dining area with TV and counter for ordering. There are also self-serve coolers with cans of soda and bottled water.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

My daughter enjoyed the student lunch special ($3), a tasty, affordable meal that included a large slice of cheese pizza, jumbo garlic knot and a can of soda. The garlic knot was huge, baked to a perfect brown hue and served warm, swimming in butter and chunks of garlic. The baked ziti ($12 for dinner portion) was a delicious combination of penne pasta, tasty meat sauce and melted mozzarella. The huge entrée was served with salad and more yummy garlic knots.

REASON TO GO

Tantalizing, homemade Italian food at a reasonable price. The place seemed to do a brisk takeout business while we were there.

SERVICE

This is a self-service eatery, so we ordered at the front counter and picked it up when our name was called. The food was cooked promptly and delivered to the counter fresh and hot.

NOISE LEVEL

Fairly quiet, with only faint chatter from nearby diners.

KID FRIENDLY

There’s no separate children’s menu, but they’ll adore the pizza, spaghetti, cheese ravioli and lasagna.
