An extensive menu with all the Chinese favorites. Lunch and dinner combinations are available. There is a “special diet food” section with offerings such as steamed chicken or shrimp with broccoli — no oil, salt or corn starch added.

ATMOSPHERE

It’s mainly for take-out, although there is a handful of tables for those who wish to dine in.

FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

We ordered a number of dishes to sample. My husband, the Chinese food expert, said the General Tso’s chicken ($9.75 – or free with an order of $40 or more) was the best. I liked it too, as it was not as spicy as other versions I have tasted. I preferred the chicken with broccoli ($8.75), with its tangy brown sauce, stir-fried chicken and large, tender pieces of broccoli. Everyone enjoyed the meaty barbecue spare ribs ($6.25) and the crisp and tasty egg rolls ($1.65 each).

REASON TO GO

For Chinese food lovers, this is a great place. There’s variety and the food is consistently good.

SERVICE

Quick and efficient. But I ignored the cardinal rule of checking my order before I left. When I got home, I realized we were missing a pint of pork fried rice.

NOISE

There’s lots of traffic in and out of this popular take-out spot, so if you choose to dine in, don’t expect it to be quiet most of the time.

KID FRIENDLY

If the kids like Chinese food, they will be happy with the offerings.
