Duffy’s scores high on menu, atmosphere, service photo
Duffy’s Sports Grill is the place to be on game day, no matter which team you’re cheering for. The menu boasts a long list of munchies, along with salads, burgers, wings and sandwiches.

MENU

Just what you crave in a sports bar: tons of appetizers, wings, burgers, sandwiches. There are also soups and salads, pasta dishes and beef, seafood, pork and chicken entrees.

ATMOSPHERE

Sports memorabilia on the walls, sports on the numerous TVs. Seating is at tables and booths.

FAVORITE ITEM/PRICE

My son-in-law, who always visits Duffy’s when he comes to Florida, devoured an order of 10 wings ($10.99) and the appetizer sampler ($11.99), which included boneless wings, Tex-Mex egg rolls and mozzarella sticks. My daughter and I both ordered the Tex-Mex taco salad ($11.99), a tasty mix of greens topped with grilled chicken, avocado, cheese, beans, corn, tomato and sour cream. The salads were large, and the ingredients were generous.

REASON TO GO

Go to watch your favorite sports team, but know that the great food and service will bring you back even when it’s not game day.

SERVICE

Our server was outstanding. When my daughter, grandson and I joined my husband and son-in-law, who had a head start on us, our server was quick to summon help and relocate us to a larger table. He was fast with the orders, checked on us often and refilled our drinks quickly. How he accomplished this, in a packed house, was amazing.

NOISE

You don’t go to a sports bar on game day to have a quiet conversation. With so many games going on, on so many screens around the restaurant, some table or other was always erupting into cheers.

KID FRIENDLY

Yes. My grandson enjoyed his corn dog ($4.99) from the kids menu. He even ordered broccoli instead of french fries for his side item!
