MENU

Tex-Mex, with a variety of appetizers, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc.

ATMOSPHERE

Help! I’m trapped in a comic book! No, really, the place is vibrant in color and artwork. There’s plenty of seating, indoor and out. Order at the counter, and a friendly server will bring your food to your table.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

I judge a place by its guacamole, and Tijuana Flats scored well with its chunky and not-too-spicy version ($3.89 with chips). My husband was equally impressed with the queso and chips ($3.69). We both ordered the $8.99 “pick dos” meals. My chicken chimichanga and chicken burrito were great, and my husband was happy with his beef burrito and enchilada. The meals came with rice and beans.

REASON TO GO

My husband and I were so wowed by the incredible customer service, we can’t wait to go back. It helps that the food is good, too.

SERVICE

Amazing. We were greeted at the door, given a menu to peruse and asked if we’d like a beverage as we made up our minds. When I ordered at the counter, the cashier was very helpful. When he realized it was my first visit, he walked me over to the sauce bar to give me an overview, as well as a warning about some of the hot sauces. Our food was delivered promptly, and employees stopped by our table several times to make sure we were happy. It doesn’t get better than that.

NOISE

The usual chatter you hear at a busy restaurant, nothing more.

KID FRIENDLY

We saw lots of little ones dining with their families. There’s a “little lizards” menu just for them, which includes chicken fingers for those who don’t like Tex-Mex.
