Nautical flea market, seafood festival starts Friday in Martin County

By Sheaon Monlouis

It’s Fall. In South Florida, all the leaves might not change to hues of browns and oranges, but the humidity levels do drop luring natives and snow birds alike outdoors to browse festivals, outdoor musical entertainment and perhaps even the Martin County Nautical Flea Market and Seafood Festival this weekend.

Beginning Friday, and continuing on Saturday and Sunday, boats and boating equipment as well as seafood will be on sale at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Stuart. More than 200 marine, fishing, boating and boat dealers will be showcasing new, used and liquidated marine items, including boats, teak furniture, boating apparel, and antiques.

Hours are from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free. On Friday there is a Senior Citizens 2-for-1 deal, where two seniors 55 and older are admitted for the price of one.

For information, call 954-205-7813 or go to www.FLnauticalfleamarket.com.
